What is GRS certification and what does it cover at your factory?

GRS — Global Recycled Standard — covers recycled fiber content, chain of custody, environmental criteria, and social criteria; at Galink, the scope applies to towels and blankets made with recycled polyester or recycled cotton, with full batch-level traceability and per-shipment documentation available. The certification is issued by an accredited third party and renewed annually.

What it means for buyers: any order claiming recycled content under GRS can be traced; the chain-of-custody documentation is available per shipment — see material traceability below.

What does OEKO-TEX Standard 100 cover for your products?

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certifies that finished textile products have been tested for harmful substances per the OEKO-TEX Annex; at Galink, the scope covers towels, blankets, bags, and robes — with every batch traceable to a tested reference lot under our registered certificate number. This is the certification most retail and kidswear buyers require.

What it means for buyers: OEKO-TEX Standard 100 label can be applied to qualifying orders; the certificate number is verifiable on the OEKO-TEX label check portal.

How do you ensure labor and human-rights compliance?

Labor and human-rights compliance at Galink is anchored by the Sedex SMETA 4-pillar audit — covering working hours, wages, age verification, freedom of association, health and safety, and non-discrimination — with documented policies visible on the production floor and in the employee handbook. This is the same audit referenced in the certification table above.

How can buyers verify or request copies of certificates?

Copies of Galink's GRS, Sedex SMETA, and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certificates are issued on written request; Sedex reports are also available through the Sedex platform under our registered site ID, with verification typically completed within 1–3 working days of receiving a written request. Verification takes 1–3 working days depending on the document.

How to request certificate copies

1. Email request to our contact form with the certificate(s) you need.
2. Sedex platform — request access via your buying organization's Sedex account for SMETA reports.
3. OEKO-TEX label check — verify our OEKO-TEX number on the OEKO-TEX label-check portal.
4. GRS database — verify our GRS scope via the Textile Exchange certification database.
